Cops hunt for missing toddler last seen with mum as dad makes Santa's grotto sighting plea

He said: “I’m so grateful the police are helping to find Olly.
“Everyday has been a battle but I know everyone is doing their best to help find my boy.
"He’s been gone for months now and I miss him every single day. It’s just been a living nightmare no parent should have to go through and I’m sick with worry.
“The run-up to Christmas has been unbearable for us this year knowing we might not get to see him, but I live in hope every day that we’ll find him.”

In a grief-stricken plea to the youngsters mum, Patrick said: “I’m so desperately worried about my son and just want him home.
“My message to Ellie is simple: please come back to that we can see Olly’s alright. That’s all I want.”

Olly is in the middle of a family court dispute between his estranged parents Ellie and Patrick Sheridan, 45.
The court hearings had previously been held in private with journalists banned from identifying the family but the High Court judge who is overseeing the revealed the family’s identify in the hope it would help find the pair.
High Court judge Mr Justice Williams allowed the family to be named and photos of them to be published.
Essex police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
