Mum, 32, 'battling post-natal depression' dies after being hit by car on Boxing Day

A mother who is believed to have had post-natal depression died on Boxing Day after she was struck by a car on a busy road.

And the mum-of-two died at the scene near Ebbw Vale, south Wales.
Devastated friends have since rallied to support the 32-year-old's heartbroken family who had spent Christmas Day with her.
"Kerri was a fun loving mother, sister, auntie, partner, daughter and twin sister," an emotional family statement said today.
"She was always outgoing and bubbly, the life and soul and rock of her friends and family.

"Kerri is well-loved by all the community and a massive loss to everyone."
The woman leaves behind husband Steven and their children; Oliver, two, and seven-month-old Noah.
More than £7,000 has been raised to help support the grief-stricken family. Donations continue to pour in on a GoFundMe page.
Kerri, who was a hairdresser in Nantyglo, near Ebbw Vale, had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital earlier this year after she was diagnosed with severe post-natal depression.
