Rushden murder: Man charged with attempted murder of suspect

Police investigating the murder of Levi Davis in Northamptonshire have charged a man with the attempted murder of the man suspected of killing her.
The 25-year-old mum of two was stabbed to death near St George's Way in Rushden at about 8.30pm on Saturday. Despite receiving treatment from paramedics, she died at the scene.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of her murder. He is in police custody in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Another 27-year old man - Jake Dean Swords from Rushden - has been charged with his attempted murder. He'll appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday 10th)

"This was an extremely tragic incident in which a young woman has lost her life and I want to reassure people that we are doing all we can to bring those responsible to justice. A large team of detectives have been working on this case around the clock and a number of lines of inquiry are being pursued as part of this fast-paced investigation.
