Holly Willoughby clapped back at Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan
after he made a comment about her presenting outfit, rather than
something serious such as the coronavirus
Holly made an appearance in the Good Morning Britain studio with her friend and co-host Phillip Schofield, to talk about what was coming up on their own show.
The ITV favourites stood a number of metres apart due to social distancing guidelines, and Piers couldn't help pointing it out.
He told them: "I love the way you come and stand two metres away."
With more and more changes coming to day-to-day life, Piers laughed and told Holly: "It's whatever gets us through right now."
Speaking
of the lockdown, Phillip said it was not unexpected, but did say that
it would be a "process" that everyone learns from on a daily basis.
The
Prime Minister last night said that people should not be travelling to
work, unless they could not work from home and were "key workers".
While many would argue that daytime television is not an essential
job for Holly and Phil to go to, they explained why they were still in
the studio today.
Phil told viewers: "The government has classed
us as an essential service for the time being to bring you the latest
news on the virus, to answer your concerns with our doctors, to offer
useful advice and to hopefully lighten the load as only This Morning
knows how."
